Textiles made in Egypt

There is a large variety of gemstones that countries can import from Egypt. A few examples would include Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise, Sapphire, and Emerald. A few other gems would also be available when looking at the export opportunities provided by suppliers and manufacturing plants in Egypt. 

There is a consistent 1% annual increase in the export of precious metals from Egypt. Gold seems to be at the top of the list when looking at precious metals exported from Egypt to other countries. Vegetables also hold a large part in the exporting, particularly related to the agriculture section. About 3.1% of all exports that go from Egypt are in the form of vegetables. It equals an estimated $911.4 million worth of vegetables each year. 

Another agriculture product that is often exported from Egypt would be fertilizers, which assist farmers in other countries to enhance their health, which, in turn, yields better crops. Fertilizers account for 4.7% of all Egypt’s exports, with an estimated $1.4 billion worth of fertilizer products exported from the country annually. 

Iron And Steel products in Egypt

Many companies decide to import raw materials, including iron and steel, from Egypt. An estimated 3.6% of the exports that come from Egypt consists of iron and steel products. In many cases, the raw materials would be exported directly to the customer’s location. Some of the manufacturing facilities in Egypt would also provide services that use the steel to produce a final product – ensuring the customer does not need to employ a complete manufacturing operation on their side. 

About $1 billion worth of steel products and iron is exported from Egypt each year, making this one of the major exported products contributing to the Egyptian economy. 

Plastics manufacturing in Egypt

Another category that ranks at the top among the exported goods from Egypt includes plastics. Plastic is a broad category that may consist of containers, molds, and more. These items are often used as packaging solutions by third-party companies to provide their customers with everything from beauty products to cleaning detergents. 

About $1.8 billion worth of plastic and plastic products are exported from Egypt annually, accounting for 6.1% of all the exports that leave the country.
