Bangladesh’s apparel industry is responsible for adding approximately $30 billion a year to its revenues. To make the clothing industry in Bangladesh more interesting and challenging, the government has now set an annual goal of bringing $50 billion of revenues from garment exports by the end of 2021.

This pattern is influenced by factors such as recurrent movements in the global fashion world, niche marketing leading to higher unit price discoveries, and increased use of diverse designs and materials, especially in the women’s clothing segment.
